Pub Crawl FAQ

A:Sorry bud, this crawl helps animals, but is only for people Q: Where do I get my Bar Crawl Passport and pre-ordered shirt? A: You can get it from the Parking Lot at Owly Oop where there will be puppies and Noah's Ark from 5:30 P.M.-7:00 PM. Q: But I didn't pre-order? How do I join? A: You can buy a passport and play with the puppies at Owly Oop, or buy a passport in front of CJ's. The shirts were a pre-order bonus though, and we only have a few extra. Q:Where do I pick up my free shirt if I pre-ordered! A: From Owly Oop, where you get to play with puppies too! Q: How and Why do I get "stamps" on my passport? A: You collect stamps (which are actually stickers), by asking the Rotaract representative at each bar, or asking your bartender! If you collect all 6 stamps, you get a free raffle ticket! End of Summer Pup Crawl!

Confused? Click Here to go to the Pub Crawl FAQ The Crawl is tomorrow! Join us by parking at Owly Oop from 5:30 to 7 to pick up your t-shirts and play with some adorable puppies from Noah's Ark before heading to CJ's for the first stop of the crawl! Your Crawl Passport will act as free entry to games, activities, and a raffle (for those that collect a "stamp" from each bar)! It will also allow you to get 2 drink tickets to be used at participating bars. Pick up your crawl passport at Owly Oop from 5:30-7:00 PM, and from CJ's Public House from 6-7 (CJ's Public House doesn't have the adorable pups though). You can also buy a passport from any of the Rotaract members with clipboards at different bars The suggested schedule is as follows! Let's Make It Official

Let the fun begin! At our meeting on Thursday April 20th, (4/20 Blaze it?), the Rockford Rotaracters filled out all of the official paperwork for chartering as an official Rotaract Club. On May 11th, we received the official Certificate of Organization stating that the Rockford Rotaract Club is recognized and connected to Rotary International.  That's not to say that we haven't made big strides in the last couple months that we've been meeting. So what's next?!? That's partly up to you, we have a few things coming up (some of which are already posted on our new  Event Calendar  which we'll be updating regularly) Regular Meetings Volunteering every third Saturday with the Rockford Rescue Mission Working with Habitat for Humanity Our New Member Reception with Rotary June 1st Creating and starting "unofficial" downtown pub crawl Distributing our homeless care packages Creating a book donation drive Sharing projects with t...

A Message from the President (The Rotaract one... not that other important one)

First of all, thanks for swinging by our corner of the internet. Since you've clicked this, I must have your attention, and since I have your attention, I'm happy to take up some of your time. I'm the one with the smile My name is Bryce Johnson, and I am one of the founding members (and current president) of the Rockford Rotaract Club. At least this iteration of the Rockford Rotaract Club. There have been clubs before us, clubs based with NIU, or Rockford University, or Rock Valley College, but I'm hoping that there won't ever be clubs after us. We're approaching this a slightly different angle. As opposed to focusing on students, this time we're focusing on community. All those young adults looking for a social outlet, or the opportunity to create change in their city can come to us. All those people who talk about how they want to make a difference, or how they want to change the culture of Rockford have just one more way to do it (or get off th...
